Job Summary

Turn IT on is looking for an ICT Consultant to support schools across Richmond upon Thames in Twickenham, Richmond, Hampton, Uxbridge & Hayes.

Must hold a UK driving licence and own a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all IT hardware and services across the schools’ sites, improving ICT provisions to support teaching and learning.
  • Facilitate communication between schools and Turn IT on, keeping schools up to date with our services and managing customer accounts.
  • Install and repair computers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment, including desktops, i Pads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns and other hardware.
  • Provide technical support and resolve identified problems for users of Microsoft Office365 and other common applications.
  • Diagnose and solve network and desktop issues, ensuring smooth operation of school IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in an ICT Technician or 2nd line support role, preferably in the education sector.

You should be passionate about IT, self‑motivated and enjoy providing excellent customer service.

Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical users in layman’s terms is required.

Benefits

Full‑time position on a full year basis.

Salary range £28,000 – £32,000 (negotiable).
