ICT Consultant – Turn IT on

Salary: £26,000 – £31,000 (negotiable depending on experience).

Location: Borehamwood, Welwyn Garden City, Letchworth Garden City & Watford (London area).

Turn IT on are looking for an ICT Consultant who has a real flair for technology and a passion for providing exemplary service to our customers. You will support schools across London, maintain all IT hardware and services, and help schools improve the standard of their ICT provisions to deliver effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

  • Maintain and repair school computer equipment, diagnose and resolve technical problems, and install new and existing software across the network.
  • Provide technical support to users, including users of Microsoft Office365, and resolve identified technical problems.
  • Manage the accounts of your customers, keep schools up to date with what services turn IT on can offer, and facilitate communication between your school and turn IT on.
  • Support schools in multiple locations; hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

At least 2 years’ experience in an ICT Technician / 2nd line support role, preferably in the education sector (although not essential). Strong technical background, self-motivated customer service, team player, excellent communication and organisational skills, proactive problem solving, and ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms.
