Turn IT on is looking for an ICT Consultant with a passion for technology and excellent customer service to support schools primarily in Leeds, with occasional travel to nearby schools.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve and manage any technical issues affecting the school’s operations by providing robust solutions.
- Install or repair computers, keeping applications and networking software up to date.
- Respond to a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, including desktops, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment and AV lecterns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ICT Technician or 2nd line support, preferably in education.
- Strong technical background and self‑motivation, with the ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and common user applications.
- Excellent team‑working, communication and organisational skills.
- Independent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to service improvement.
