As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant to take ownership of Workday Financials across the business and play a key role in shaping their evolving operating model.
This is a high-visibility role within a lean, sophisticated environment where youll collaborate directly with senior stakeholders, including Finance leadership, Technology teams, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of Workday Financials, including modules such as Financial Accounting, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, and Expenses.
- Act as the Workday subject-matter expert for all finance-related functionality and integrations.
- Partner closely with Finance teams to gather requirements, diagnose issues, and deliver scalable solutions aligned to business needs.
- Support release management, testing cycles, documentation, and user training.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure Workday is fully leveraged to support the firms fast-paced operating environment.
- Work with third-party vendors, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements and new features.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven background as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant
- Strong hands-on configuration experience across multiple Workday Financials modules.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical, well-designed Workday solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to operate in a front-office-adjacent environment.
- Experience in hedge funds, investment management, or similar high-performance environments is highly advantageous.
