Are you a highly skilled Technical Workday Specialist looking for an exciting new challenge? Would you like to join a global financial services business who are investing heavily in the latest technology from Workday across HR and Finance? Can you demonstrate previous experience working with both the HCM and Finance Modules of Workday? Do you have excellent communication skills and are comfortable working with stakeholders across the business including the C-Suite?
This newly created role working with a leading international hedge fund will be tasked with providing a world-class service to the business and be a key hire as they build out an internal Workday delivery function covering support, development, and product management to improve the utilisation, integration and adoption of Workday tools in the business to drive best practice and ROI across the finance and human resources teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging Workday Extend to build first-class apps and solutions, while integrating Workday with other critical business tools such as Salesforce.
A selection of your key responsibilities will include:
- Workday Development & Configuration: Design, develop, and maintain Workday solutions across Finance and HCM modules. Utilize Workday Extend to build custom applications and deliver innovative solutions.
- Integration Management: Develop and manage integrations between Workday and other business systems, including Salesforce and third-party tools. Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide expert guidance on Workday capabilities and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday releases and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements. Drive automation and process optimization across HR and Finance functions.
Strong expertise in Workday reporting tools, including custom reports, calculated fields, and advanced reporting techniques. Ability to design and maintain interactive dashboards for HR and Finance stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights.
As the Ideal Candidate you will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Workday Technical Specialist with strong knowledge of HCM and Finance modules.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Extend and custom app development would be very beneficial.
- Expertise in Workday integrations (including Salesforce and other enterprise tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
