Workday Finance Consultant

A highly successful and rapidly growing London-based hedge fund, is seeking a Workday Finance Consultant to join a newly created internal Workday team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Workday professional to play a key role in the ongoing development, optimisation and support of a critical enterprise platform within a fast-paced financial services environment. The successful candidate will join a collaborative technology and business systems function that is investing heavily in its internal capabilities. You will work closely with Finance, Technology and Operations stakeholders to enhance Workday Financials functionality, drive process improvements and support future projects across the Workday ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain and enhance Workday Financials modules. Support day-to-day administration and optimisation of the Workday platform. Work closely with Finance users to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions. Assist with Workday releases, testing, upgrades and new functionality deployments. Create and maintain reports, dashboards and analytics within Workday. Investigate and resolve functional issues and user queries. Participate in system improvement projects and Workday-related initiatives. Produce and maintain system documentation, procedures and training materials. Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and projects. Requirements Approximately 3 years of hands-on Workday experience. Strong knowledge of Workday Financials and related business processes. Experience configuring and supporting Workday Finance modules. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification. A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a desire to develop a long-term career within Workday. Desirable Experience working within financial services, asset management, hedge funds or banking environments. Exposure to Workday reporting, integrations, or Prism Analytics.
