Are you an experienced Workday Financials professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Would you like to join a newly created internal Workday Financials team as the lead functional expert? Can you demonstrate experience of owning and delivering projects from start to finish? Do you have an excellent understanding of financial & accounting processes and experience working directly with finance stakeholders?
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a leading global hedge fund and work alongside a highly motivated and professional team as they build out their internal Workday Financials capacity. As the successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate a blend of technical and functional knowledge, be comfortable dealing with and resolving day-to-day queries and issues.
Take responsibility for basic configuration and debugging work. It is important that you can show experience and knowledge of the following areas; you don’t need to be an expert in all but should be able to show detailed knowledge in a couple of areas:
- Foundational Data Model (FDM) - A strong understanding of Worktags would be a good example
- Financial Accounting Configuration - Ledger configuration, book codes & account posting
- Intercompany, Allocations & Currency Translation
- Building and Troubleshooting Accounts Payable & Banking Fundamentals Configuration - payment file generation, bank statement integration
- Composite & Advanced Reporting - difference between a simple report, a composite report, and a matrix report in Workday
- Calculated Fields - Logical functions - Creating complex CFs and debug systematically
- Workday Security Model - Security groups, Domain Security, Segment-based security Validating Security in the Build
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) - Building & Troubleshooting
- Adaptability & Building New Use Cases - Talk about how you would approach this, build new skills & resources you would use.
