This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse and friendly team at a time when the team is continuing to grow, developing new fields of work, skills and experience across our disciplines. The position is based in our London office and would work on a wide variety of projects across the UK, for both prestigious private and public sector clients.
In this role you will:
- Undertake comprehensive research and analysis, including site visits, desk-based and archival research.
- Assess the significance of a wide range of heritage assets.
- Contribute to heritage advice and impact assessment in a planning context.
- Support and work towards leading on a range of projects and proactively assist with the delivery on more major projects.
- Contribute to providing clear, succinct and commercial advice to our clients.
- Effectively manage your workload with defined responsibility.
- Develop your technical skills and grow your own presence in our local markets.
- Be part of a dynamic, supportive and well established team.

About you
You will have a strong academic record (with degree or post graduate qualification in a planning, heritage conservation or other heritage-related subject as a minimum), an enquiring mind, strong communication skills and commercial awareness. You will have sound knowledge of architectural history, experience of promoting or managing change in the historic environment, and a developing understanding of the English planning system. You will have strong IT skills with a knowledge and experience of using GIS/QGIS desirable. You will be able to proactively manage your own workload and deliver exceptional client service within a fast-paced consultancy environment. Your continued personal and professional development and learning will be encouraged and supported.
