We are looking for a passionate and proactive Business Support Executive to join a vibrant team in our busy consultancy office.
About the role
Based in Reading (with occasional travel to Southampton 2-3 times a month), you will be part of the Business Support team and will support a wider fee earning team across the south of England. Working closely with the Business Support Partner, you will lead on multiple business support functions, which include:
- Day-to-day running of the Reading office that includes liaising with Building Management and other 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensuring Company Policies are adhered to, such as Sustainability and Net Zero initiatives.
- Implementing and maintaining processes that include financial processes, IT systems training, management systems and health and safety.
- Document preparation and production.
- Event organisation and diary management including travel, accommodation, and meeting arrangements.
- A broad range of general administration duties.
The ideal candidate will be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and will have experience in a similar Senior Business Support role, ideally in a professional services environment. Your administrative skills should be at an exceptional level and cover a wide range of experiences. You should demonstrate an ability to work proactively, both in teams and remotely and be able to organise a varied and busy workload, for yourself and the Business Support Team as efficient working is required to meet key deadlines, often at short notice.
It would be desirable for you to have line management experience as after a probationary period line management responsibilities may be introduced. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is essential to success in the role.
The typical salary range for this role sits between £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
