We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Assistant Urban Designer to join our Design team, whose work is national in its reach and collaborative in approach. Bristol Turley believe that good design is vital in the creation of successful, sustainable and enduring places that bring delight and that people will value now and in the future.
Our Design team at Turley comprises 16 Urban Designers working across the UK and Ireland. Our multi-faceted team comprises architects, landscape architects and urban designers with a planning qualification, giving us a unique and rich blend of skills and backgrounds. We work with clients on interesting and compelling projects that deliver better places.
About the role: We seek a highly competent and passionate Assistant Urban Designer who is confident, dedicated to their own development and at the forefront of professional best practice. You will gain experience of contributing to masterplanning projects from inception to completion with particular emphasis on providing great client service and the delivery of high-quality outputs.
A degree in Architecture and/or a post-graduate qualification in Urban Design or relevant discipline is desired. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages will be required with 3D computer modelling, rendering, and hand drawing skills desirable.
