We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Cargo Sales Representative to join our team in London, covering the UK region. This role is primarily focused on inside sales, managing customer enquiries, providing tailored cargo solutions, and driving revenue growth through proactive engagement with freight forwarders and direct customers.

You will play a key role in representing Turkish Cargo’s products and services, ensuring high service quality while identifying new business opportunities in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the inside sales mailbox, responding to customer enquiries promptly with accurate quotations and tailored solutions
  • Proactively follow up on offers to maximize conversion and revenue generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, agents, and direct customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK market
  • Promote Turkish Cargo’s products, services, and value propositions to customers
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Head Office) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, and provide insights to management
  • Support and execute sales and marketing plans, including customer visits, events, workshops, and training sessions
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, procedures, and international cargo regulations
  • Contribute to achieving revenue targets and overall commercial objectives
  • Report directly to Cargo Sales Manager and carry out other duties provided by managers.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum high school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom (visa sponsorship is not provided)
  • At least 2 years of experience in air cargo, logistics, or freight forwarding (inside sales experience is an advantage)
  • Strong command of English, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of air cargo operations and airline sales processes, including pricing and capacity management
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when required
