CARGO SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Cargo Sales Representative to handle sales leads, cultivate customer relationships, and contribute to sales growth in the cargo and logistics sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales opportunities by identifying potential clients and business prospects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding cargo services and pricing.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to clients.
  • Follow up on leads and sales inquiries to convert them into actual sales.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Maintain and update customer information and sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Evaluate and respond to incoming tender requests in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and respond to incoming spot requests and provide timely feedback.
  • Prepare and present promotional offers to clients.
  • Evaluate and respond to contract requests, ensuring timely responses.
  • Evaluate and respond to allotment requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School graduation (Associate or Bachelors degree is preferred)
  • Permanent residence permit in the respective country (The Company will not provide or assist with work permits)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in cargo or logistics
  • Work in flexible hours
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Being a team player along with having the capability to work independently when necessary and being able to work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Sense of responsibility, Ability to make decisions accurately and effectively
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
