We’re looking for a Developer Advocate / Developer Content Engineer who can show developers what’s possible with Artemis. Someone who can build examples, explain real workflows, and create content that resonates because it reflects how developers actually work. Your job is to help developers understand how our offerings fit into their everyday flow and why it makes their work better — in your own technical, authentic voice.
You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering and Product, experiment with new capabilities, create demos and walkthroughs, and engage publicly across developer communities. If you’re a builder who loves teaching other developers through content, video, examples, and honest technical conversation, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Build engaging, production-ready demos that showcase real-world developer workflows and product capabilities.
- Produce multi-format content — technical blog posts, tutorials, videos, and social media snippets — that resonates with technical audiences.
- Record and edit videos (feature walkthroughs, screencasts, narrated demos) optimized for developer channels like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Collaborate with engineering to deeply understand features and ensure content is accurate and developer-ready.
- Work with marketing to align content with launch timelines, messaging, and campaigns.
- Strong software development background, ideally in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python.
- Proven experience using and extending Visual Studio Code (extensions, integrations, workflows).
- Familiarity with AI developer tools, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face).
- Ability to build and explain end-to-end demos using modern dev tooling and workflows (git, CI/CD, cloud platforms).
- Understanding of developer ecosystems and how to engage technical audiences through content.
- Video production skills — screen recording, editing, and publishing for professional-quality results.
Applicants should have a portfolio of previously created developer content that could include:
- Recorded video demos or walkthroughs.
- Technical blog posts or tutorials.
- Public GitHub projects or repositories tied to content pieces.
- Conference talks or webinars. (not required but great to have)
- 2–3 polished demos with write-ups and recordings.
- 3–4 developer-focused blog posts or tutorials highlighting use cases, integrations, and tips.
- 2–3 short launch videos (2–5 minutes each).
- Updates or additions to developer documentation for launch readiness.
