Role Overview: Turing invites Corporate Law and M&A experts to join projects that fine-tune AI models like ChatGPT. You will apply your expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity structuring, and transactional due diligence to evaluate how AI reasons about complex corporate legal scenarios. If you enjoy dissecting deal structures, analysing fiduciary duties, and providing clear, structured feedback, this is your chance to shape how the next generation of AI understands corporate law. No prior AI experience is required — your background in U.S. corporate practice is exactly what’s needed.
What Does Day-to-Day Look Like:
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to U.S. corporate law and M&A hypotheticals, including merger agreements, shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty analysis, and SEC compliance scenarios.
- Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, accuracy of corporate governance principles, and proper application of Delaware General Corporation Law and federal securities regulations.
- Identify gaps in AI reasoning around deal structuring, representations and warranties, indemnification provisions, and material adverse change clauses.
- Provide detailed, high-quality annotations and written feedback to refine AI models.
- Collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school; Bar admission (active/inactive).
- 3+ years of U.S. legal practice in corporate law, M&A, or transactional advisory.
- Strong reasoning skills in corporate governance, securities regulation, entity formation, and deal execution.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
