Director, HRBP and Team Member Relations

As the Director, HRBP Team (HRBPs, HR Generalists, and Team Member Relations), you will lead the HRBP and HR Generalist functions across the company while owning the Employee Relations strategy. Supporting all business functions, you will ensure HR strategies align with company-wide goals, foster a high-performing, inclusive culture, and address team member needs with a hands-on, adaptable approach. This role requires navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a geographically dispersed workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HRBP and Generalist Teams
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of HRBPs and HR Generalists and there to support all business functions with 5 direct reports and total org size of 15-20.
  • Ensure alignment of HR strategies with company-wide objectives
  • Employee Relations Leadership
  • Inherit and iterate the Employee Relations function, ensuring it aligns with best practices and the company’s values.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases while driving a positive team member experience.
  • Strategic HR Partnership
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, providing guidance on organizational transformation, talent development, and change management.
  • Lead succession planning, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal, to execute business and HR plans effectively.
  • Align workforce strategies with business priorities through strong collaboration across functions.
  • Scaling HR Processes and Programs
  • Design and implement scalable HR programs and processes that meet the needs of a rapidly growing organization.
  • Continuously improve HR operations and team member experiences through data-driven strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading HRBP and HR Generalist teams in a global, high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in talent management, employee relations, and HR program development.
  • Employee Relations Expertise
  • Strong track record of managing complex employee relations issues, fostering trust, and ensuring a positive team member experience.
  • Strategic Thinking and Analytics
  • Deep understanding of business priorities and the ability to use data-driven insights to influence HR and business strategies.
  • Influence and Relationship Building
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders.
  • Collaborative approach to driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Global Experience
  • Experience managing HR functions for multinational workforces, ensuring cultural alignment and inclusivity across regions.
  • Experience
  • 10+ years of HR experience, including leading HRBP and HR Generalist.
  • 5+ years experience directly managing HRBP teams
  • Exceptional experience working with the executive leadership team on operationalizing HR shared services approach, elevating the onboarding experience, and operationalizing talent strategy
  • Proven experience building out operational efficiencies in a rapidly evolving, start-up environment.
