We’re looking for a smart, hungry, early‑career seller who loves tech and startups — and who wants real responsibility and results, not busywork. You’ll run outbound for TF26 founder tickets, talk to ambitious founders across the UK & Europe, and own deals end‑to‑end. When something’s tricky, you’ll get input — then return to own and close the deal.

What you’ll do

  • Research and prospect founders and startup leaders who are a strong fit for Turing Fest
  • Run thoughtful, human outbound (email + follow‑up — no spam)
  • Qualify interest and handle objections with good judgment
  • Close founder ticket sales at list price
  • Escalate edge cases for input, then return to close once resolved
  • Keep CRM clean and track progress against weekly targets

What good looks like

  • You consistently hit weekly ticket targets, which are clear, achievable, and focused on quality — not spray-and-pray volume
  • Founders feel respected, not pressured
  • Issues are escalated early and handled cleanly
  • You understand why we’re selective about who attends, and why that approach protects the value for everyone in the room

Who you are

  • Early in your career, and very self‑motivated
  • You like selling, and you’re comfortable being measured and rewarded on outcomes
  • Curious about tech and startups; you actively follow what’s being built
  • Comfortable hearing “no” and moving on
  • Organised, reliable, and good at finishing what you start
  • Previous SDR experience is nice to have, not required. We care more about proof of drive.

What you’ll learn

  • Practical go‑to‑market skills (prospecting, qualification, follow‑up, closing)
  • How founders think about ROI, pricing, and trade‑offs
  • How to sell a premium product with taste and judgment
  • This role is designed to set you up for your next step — most often revenue, partnerships, or ecosystem roles at ambitious startups, and occasionally VC‑adjacent scout or platform paths.

Practicalities

  • Contract / part‑time role
  • Remote‑friendly (UK preferred)
  • Base rate: ÂŁ15–£17 /hour, plus commission paid on tickets sold
  • A ticket to Turing Fest, plus travel and accommodation, to network and find your next big thing
