We are your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations serving you, and we are proud to be one of Canada's best managed companies. We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position at our Stratford, PEI location. Note: This is a full-time seasonal position from April 2026 to September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
- Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
- Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
- Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
- May need to maintain vehicles and related equipment in good condition
- May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
- Follows all safety rules and procedures
- Maintenance of the facilities
- May maintain tool room or run the wash bay
- May perform grounds maintenance and keep yard presentable to customers
- May be required to assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership
- Load/unload merchandise and equipment
- Forklift operation may be required
Requirements
- Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift license an asset
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
