Opportunity. We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join our Finance team. The position is on a full-time 12 month fixed-term basis. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 33.75 hours per week. The role will principally be based in our Edinburgh office, initially fully office based, but in the long term the Firm supports a hybrid working approach through our Smarter Working policy.

This role will assist the Credit Control Manager in ensuring the timely and effective collection of outstanding fees by maintaining contact with clients via email, telephone or letter. Our Credit Control team help to resolve any queries raised relating to credit control internally and externally, liaising with Partners and fee-earners. You will support the Credit Control Manager with preparing entries for fee payments and cash allocation, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the function.

Skills/Qualifications. The successful candidate will have previous Credit Control administration experience with excellent organisation skills and a strong team player. Confidentiality is essential along with excellent communication skills and a highly professional telephone manner. Experience using Microsoft Office packages is required. You will have strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload. Full training will be given on other platforms which are used in the business.
