Opportunity: We have a new opportunity for a solicitor with 7+ years PQE who is experienced in and specialises in Commercial Property to join our Land & Property Team. The role will principally be based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office although we support a hybrid working approach.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle a wide range of commercial property matters, including development options and land sales, planning agreements, sales, purchases and leases of commercial premises, contracts, planning agreements and retail and office premises acquisitions. Our commercial property solicitors represent clients with a wide range of property interests, buying, leasing, and selling high street shops, industrial units, hotels, pubs, and restaurants.
In providing advice to clients, you will work with other colleagues in land and property, tax and succession, business law, charity law, family law, employment law and litigation to ensure that fully integrated holistic advice is given to our clients. As you will become a trusted adviser and sounding board to your clients, you will need to have an interest in people and their affairs and will act with discretion and empathy.
