We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Operator to join our team. Working within a busy machine shop, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls
- Manufacturing precision components to specifications and engineering drawings
- Producing a variety of different components
- Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections
- Ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Experience programming at the machine
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent in the use of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
