Turbo Driving is proud to be partnering with a leading logistics company to recruit reliable Class 2 HGV (C) Home Delivery Drivers for immediate starts in Barton-Upon-Humber DN18 5RL.

New Pass Drivers Accepted

This role is 70% heavy lifting and 30% driving.

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday £16.75 per hour
  • Permanent salary £41,808.00
  • Quarterly performance bonus available

The Role:

  • Monday to Friday, Saturdays available for overtime at an enhanced rate
  • 04:00 - 06:00 starts
  • Guaranteed 48 hours per week
  • Two-person team deliveries
  • Heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
  • Delivering to houses, flats, building sites
  • Deliver to room of choice
  • Use of sack barrow & stair climber
  • Abide by driving rules and regulations
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Hold a valid UK CPC Card
  • Have a clear DBS check (we will complete this with you)
  • Pass drug & alcohol test
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role (the role is physically demanding)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Work well as part of a team

  • 4 hour assessment (Drug & alcohol test, Theory test & driving assessment)
  • DBS check completion
  • 1 week paid company induction
