Join a leading logistics company in Stansted with guaranteed hours and competitive pay as a Class 2 HGV Driver. Turbo Driving is recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers (C) for a stable, long-term opportunity offering guaranteed hours, competitive pay, and a strong earning package including a £2,000 sign up bonus.
Location: Stansted
Shift: Monday to Friday; Start times between 04:00 - 06:00
Pay & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday: PAYE £18.25 per hour; LTD £23 per hour
- £2,000 Sign-up Bonus (T&Cs Apply)
- PAYE and LTD Drivers Accepted
- New Pass Drivers Welcome
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
The Role:
- Two-person team deliveries
- Heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- Delivering to houses, flats and building sites
- Deliver to room of choice
- Use of sack barrow & stair climber
- Abide by driving rules and regulations
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
Please note: This role is approximately 70% manual handling and 30% driving.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
- Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card
- Have a clear DBS check (we will complete this with you)
- Pass a drug & alcohol test
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Work well as part of a team
