Turbo Driving is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to complete store deliveries for a well-established retail client based in Motherwell. We are looking for drivers to work on an Any 5 out of 7 Rota, so weekend work is a must.
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday: £17.36 per hour (£19.45 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
- Saturday: £20.36 per hour (£22.81 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
- Sunday: £22.91 per hour (£25.67 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
- Overtime after 43.5 hours: £22.57 per hour (£25.29 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
Duties:
- Make on time deliveries
- Store deliveries
- Box trailers
- Tail-lift
- 03:00 - 09:00 start times
- Work any 5 out of 7 days, weekends are a must
- Communicate effectively with the transport team
- Abide by driving rules and regulations
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Drive a Class 1 Vehicle safely and efficiently
The ideal candidate:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE licence for a minimum of 12 months
- Have 12 months experience driving Class 1 Vehicles
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card
- Hold a valid UK Digi Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No major endorsement codes
- Good communication skills
- Availability to cover weekend work
