Turbo Driving is proud to be partnering with a leading logistics company to recruit reliable Class 2 HGV (C) Home Delivery Drivers for immediate starts in Trafford Park. This role is 70% heavy lifting and 30% Driving. NEW PASS DRIVERS ACCEPTED! Pay Rates: Monday to Friday £16.75 per hour Weekend Overtime £25.12 per hour £750 Quarterly performance bonus The Role: Monday to Friday, Saturdays available for overtime at an enhanced rate 04:00 06:00 starts Guaranteed 48 hours per week Two-person team deliveries Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) Delivering to houses, flats, building sites Deliver to room of choice Use of sack barrow and stair climber Abide by driving rules and regulations Follow company policies and procedures Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently The Candidate: Hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence Have a minimum of 3 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card Hold a valid UK CPC Card Must have the legal right to work in the UK Have a clear DBS check (we will complete this with you) Pass drug and alcohol test Able to lift up to 25kg and work in a physically demanding environment Excellent customer service skills Good communication skills Work well as part of a team Application Process: 4 hour assessment (Drug and alcohol test, Theory test and driving assessment) DBS check complete 1 week paid company induction when complete
