We are recruiting a Site Services Compliance & EHS Administrator to join our Quality team based out of our Whitley (DN14 0HR) location. This is a site-based role and is a 12-month fixed term contract.

What will you be doing in this role?

The Site Services EHS Administrator provides administrative, compliance, and operational support to the Site Services (facilities) function. The role ensures that site service operations meet internal standards and comply with legal, statutory, and BSI requirements. Working closely with the Site Services Manager and collaborating with Quality Department this role helps maintain accurate documentation, support audits, and coordinate essential safety and compliance processes related to the site and its facilities.

The Ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone with experience in working with environment health and safety documentation. Computer literacy is important in this role, especially when it comes to documentation and creating/updating forms.

Key skills and experience:

• Experience in facilities administration or compliance support role.

• IOSH Managing Safely, or similar safety qualification.

• Strong understanding of facilities safety, legal compliance, and documentation processes.

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and contractors.

• Competent in MS Office and facility/EHS management systems (Strong Excel skills).

Desirable skills and experience

• NEBOSH General Certificate,

Desirable skills and experience

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent EHS qualification.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.

• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.

• Experience preparing audit evidence for external certification or regulatory audits.

• Familiarity with Q-Pulse or similar compliance eQMS systems.

• Experience producing dashboards or reports using Microsoft Office applications or business

• Reporting tools.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintain EHS documentation relevant to Site Service operations (risk assessments, COSHH, facilities SOPs).

• Assist with incident reporting, route cause analysis and corrective action plans related to site services or contractor activities, ensuring documentation is complete and uploaded to the company Quality Management system.

• Help prepare Site Services input for internal and external audits (BSI, insurers, regulators).

• Help improve and manage site service document management.

• Maintain logs for statutory inspections (pressure systems, LEV, fire systems, emergency lighting, etc.).

• Support emergency response activities specific to the site infrastructure (fire drills, evacuations).

• Monitor, collect, and maintain waste generation and disposal data to support environmental objectives, compliance, safety and reporting requirements.

• Monitor energy usage, supporting environmental performance tracking and sustainability goals.

• Prepare monthly environmental data summaries and calculate adherence against KPI’s.

• Assist in maintaining records for environmental audits and BSI environmental standards (e.g., ISO 14001 inputs)
