We are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant, who will be responsible for consolidating the financial reporting of the company's multiple international subsidiaries and understanding and articulating the drivers of the company's trading performance and forecasts. This role is based at our Whitley, Yorkshire office, working on a hybrid basis. This is a Fixed Term contract position until September 2026.
What will you be doing in this role?
- As our Group Financial Accountant, you will form impactful relationships with the senior management team to drive exceptional decision making.
- You will play a key part in maximising the company's use of financial data to understand and drive performance.
- Owning the initial preparation of the monthly management accounts pack and reviewing and constructively challenging regional performance vs forecast to provide clarity over drivers of group performance to the senior management team and board is vital to the success of this role.
The Ideal candidate:
- To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships, both internally and externally, and with the ability to constructively challenge key stakeholders.
- You will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), highly proficient in the use of Excel and have the ability to dissect multiple financial data points.
