Tunnel Engineering Limited is looking for a part-time/temporary MEWP Operator to support tunnel and infrastructure inspection works in London. The role involves operating MEWPs and assisting inspection teams during tunnel and infrastructure inspections. The work is practical and site-based, requiring a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to work flexible shifts, including night work.

The successful candidate will assist with safe access for inspections, visual checks, operating scissor lifts or Cherry Picker, photography, recording observations, and supporting inspection activities on infrastructure projects.

Previous experience in highways, tunnels, rail, infrastructure maintenance, inspections, or similar operational environments would be highly beneficial.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
  • IPAF 3a and 3b
  • CSCS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience operating MEWPs in infrastructure or construction environments
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely in operational environments
  • Confined Space, Working at Height, or SSSTS qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential

This is initially a part-time/temporary role with the potential to develop into a permanent position. Competitive day rate depending on experience.
