The Job
Managing a wide range of artists across our growing frontline and catalogue roster, you will own the execution and delivery of comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns with a heavy emphasis on digital strategy. This role is designed to bridge the gap between traditional artist development and modern digital activation. Working both autonomously and as part of the broader Artist Services team, you will drive campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring that creative storytelling is seamlessly integrated with innovative, data‑driven digital execution.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Strategic Planning: Lead the end‑to‑end planning of marketing campaigns, ensuring a unified approach across both traditional and digital channels.
- Artist Relations: Liaise directly with artists and management teams to build trust and deliver creative, successful campaigns that align with the artist’s vision.
- A&R Collaboration: Work closely with the A&R team to coordinate product delivery, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule.
- Creative Oversight: Oversee the creation of campaign assets—including artwork, photography, and video content—to ensure high‑quality visual storytelling.
- Digital Innovation: Create and lead social media strategies and digital advertising campaigns that are both creative and platform‑efficient.
- Streaming & EMP: Partner with the EMP team to develop streaming strategies and execute innovative activations across all major DSPs.
- Audience Development: Cultivate online communities and build “super‑fan” networks using best‑practice retention and engagement strategies.
- Data & Insights: Analyze and interpret audience data to inform strategy, set clear KPIs, and optimize campaign performance in real‑time.
- Reporting: Deliver clear sales and marketing reports to all internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Confidently manage campaign budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to drive maximum impact.
- Third‑Party Coordination: Source and manage external social agencies alongside press, radio, and TV teams when required to round out a 360‑degree campaign.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience running successful integrated marketing and digital campaigns within the music industry.
- Ability to confidently plan and deliver high‑standard campaigns while juggling multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience liaising directly with artists, managers, and third‑party partners at a professional level.
- A “digital native” with a deep understanding of social media trends and hands‑on experience with ad tools and analytics (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
- A strong understanding of how to use data and consumer insights to drive creative decision‑making.
- A creative mindset with a hunger for new digital activations and a positive, team‑player attitude.
