We’re looking for an experienced MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to join our busy, well-established workshop.
If you’re a skilled technician who takes pride in your work, can diagnose and repair vehicles confidently, and is looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with no weekends, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out
- Class 4 MOT testing
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Mechanical repairs
- Routine inspections and general workshop duties
You’ll be working as part of a friendly, supportive team, while also being trusted to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
What We Offer
- £30,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
- No weekends
- 20 days’ holiday + bank holidays
- Holiday increases by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days
- NEST pension
- 3-month probation period

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have
- Full UK Driving Licence covering Class 4 vehicles
- DVSA-approved MOT Tester Licence – Class 4
- Minimum 4 years’ full-time experience servicing and repairing Class 4 vehicles
- Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (NVQ, VCQ or equivalent) or approved industry accreditation
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work confidently and independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, positive and professional attitude
