The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Private Sector Housing team, contributing to improving standards and health outcomes for our residents. You will lead the delivery of grants and financial assistance supporting people to live independently and safely in their homes and improving housing conditions. You will assist in the delivery of energy efficiency initiatives to achieve low carbon and warm homes.
You will play an important part in delivering the Housing Services vision “to be more than a housing service. We are passionate about what we do, and we will work resourcefully and creatively as one team, going the extra mile to improve the lives and homes of our customers.”
You will have:
- Experience in delivering Disabled Facilities Grants (minimum one year)
- Knowledge of DFG law, guidance and designing for the disabled
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Housing, Environmental Health, construction or building surveying
- The ability to prioritise a busy caseload and find positive solutions to complex challenges
- Be highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills for working with vulnerable clients and diverse stakeholders
