About the position
At Jane Street, quantitative traders identifymarket signals, analyze and execute strategies, construct quantitative models, conduct statisticalanalyses, build algorithmic trading systems, manage risk, develop new businesses, and more.
Our trading desks are central to ourcollaborative and cooperative office environment.
You can expect to work side by side withexperienced traders who are committed to teaching, guiding, and supporting our newest hires.
Throughhands-on, interactive training, you’ll acquiresignificant trading responsibilities within weeksto months of being on the desk.
In parallel, youwill participate in our robust year-long firmwideeducational curriculum.

A profitable trading strategy is only as strongas the technology it runs on, and we considerourselves as much a technology company as atrading firm.
General programming experience is aplus, but knowing a particular programminglanguage is not required.
