Software Engineer - 2027 Summer Internship
Our goal is to give you a real sense of whatit's like to work at Jane Street full timewhile also providing a truly unparallelededucational experience.
As an intern, you arepaired with full-time employees who act asmentors, collaborating with you on real-worldprojects we actually need done.
As a Software Engineering intern, you'lllearn how we use OCaml (our primary developmentlanguage) in our day-to-day work, and gainexposure to the libraries and tools that arefoundational to our internal systems.
Some teamsalso use Python, so depending on the project, youmight do some work with Python as well.
During the internship, you'll be closelymentored by full-time software engineers.
Mentorsdesign intern projects based on their team'scurrent needs and are heavily invested in helpinginterns build maintainable, high-quality softwarethat is intended to reach production.
The projectsyou will work on are as varied and diverse asthose full-timers work on, covering a wide rangeof problems, from high performance trading systemsto programming language design and everything inbetween.
