We are currently recruiting for an ongoing contract role based in Tullos, working within a busy mill environment. This position would suit a reliable and hardworking individual who is mechanically minded and comfortable carrying out a range of operational and labouring duties.

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm / 10:00am - 2:00pm. Weekend work available at their quayside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently
  • Working within the mill environment supporting daily operations
  • General labouring and housekeeping duties
  • Assisting with loading and movement of materials
  • Carrying out basic maintenance checks and reporting faults
  • Supporting production teams where required
  • Following all site health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating a loading shovel preferred
  • Valid loading shovel ticket/certification advantageous
  • Mechanically minded with practical problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in an industrial/mill environment
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Flexible approach to duties and shift patterns
