We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Site Manager for a 2–3 month contract based in Aberdeen, with the potential for extension. This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone with experience in structural steelwork, cladding, or industrial and/or commercial construction, who can help deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- SMSTS (preferred)
- SSSTS considered
- CSCS card
- First Aid certification
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction site safety procedures
Key Duties
- Supervising live construction sites
- Monitoring health & safety and ensuring site compliance
- Coordinating labour, plant, and materials
- Assisting with procurement and programme management
- Monitoring quality and workmanship
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
- Reporting on progress and helping to resolve site issues
- Assisting with cost control and variations
Essential Experience
- Previous construction site supervision/project management experience
- Good understanding of steelwork and/or cladding installations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Full UK driving licence
