We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at our Birchmoss site in Aberdeenshire on a 6 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various forklift trucks and material handling equipment within a busy site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
  • Load, unload, move, and store materials as required.
  • Conduct pre-use equipment inspections and report any defects.
  • Follow site health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
  • Support warehouse and yard operations as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Essential Requirements

The site operates the following equipment:

  • 5T Counterbalance Forklift
  • 16T Counterbalance Forklift
  • 2T Reach Truck (8m+ mast)
  • 8T Side Loader / Combi lift

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:30 – 15:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Certification requirements:

  • B1 – Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • B3 – Counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • M3 – Reach Truck - Advantageous
  • D2 – Side Loader - Advantageous
