Our client, based in Portlethen, is seeking an Equipment Readiness Associate to join their team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance experience and a current forklift licence to support the preparation and readiness of specialist equipment for operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer in preparing equipment for upcoming jobs.
- Carry out non-invasive maintenance on surface and downhole equipment, as well as ready boxes, ensuring equipment is fit for deployment.
- Complete assigned work orders through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with standard procedures and documentation is accurate and complete.
- Prepare and organise documentation, including:
- Calibration records
- Function tests
- Material certifications
- Inspection reports
- Third-party quality control documentation where required
- Prepare equipment and critical spare parts for shipment and stage them in designated loading areas.
- Load equipment onto transport vehicles when required, in the absence of operational planning or Equipment Readiness Operators/Technicians.
- Receive returned equipment following offloading by the Logistics team and ensure it is processed back into the Technology Lifecycle Management.
