We are currently seeking CPCS Slinger/Signallers for work across Aberdeen, Peterhead, and surrounding shire areas. These are various ad-hoc roles, primarily within sorting and lifting operation areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing crane lifting operations safely and efficiently
- Assessing loads, including estimating weight and balance
- Selecting, inspecting, and correctly using lifting gear (slings, shackles, etc.)
- Attaching, guiding, and landing loads in accordance with site procedures
- Using standard hand signals and radio communication
- Adhering to site rules, risk assessments, and method statements
- Maintaining high safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller (A40) card – essential
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
