Our client in Aberdeen is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join their team. This role involves performing warehouse and brine plant operations safely, efficiently, and effectively, while delivering excellent service to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare stock by palletising, shrink-wrapping, and loading/unloading containers.
- Load/unload vessels at the quayside to/from storage tanks.
- Filter returned fluids from customers.
- Operate bulk plant equipment such as valves, hoses, and pumps.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Prepare customer orders according to written or verbal instructions.
- Maintain plant and warehouse stock records (e.g., Daily Brine Movement reports).
- Ensure vehicles and forklifts remain in safe operating condition.
- Maintain general housekeeping and good order of warehouse and quayside facilities.
- Promote a positive work ethos and encourage worker consultation and participation.
Desired Qualities/Qualifications:
- Loading/unloading bulk fluids.
- Forklift truck certification (B2) preferred but not essential.
- Clean driving license essential.
