We are currently recruiting for an ongoing contract role based in Tullos, working within a busy mill environment. This position would suit a reliable and hardworking individual who is mechanically minded and comfortable carrying out a range of operational and labouring duties.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern
Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm / 10:00am – 2:00pm. Weekend work available at their quayside.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently
- Working within the mill environment supporting daily operations
- General labouring and housekeeping duties
- Assisting with loading and movement of materials
- Carrying out basic maintenance checks and reporting faults
- Supporting production teams where required
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a loading shovel preferred
- Valid loading shovel ticket/certification advantageous
- Mechanically minded with practical problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in an industrial/mill environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
