Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Operate drill floor equipment including draw works, mud circulating systems, rotary system, BOP equipment, and supervise the drilling crew.
- Ensure drilling operations comply with company QHSE policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Empowered to stop the job if safety or instructions are compromised, reporting to ARS / RS.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote safety culture.
- Mentor and coach new crew members.
- Plan maintenance and inspections using SAP system, liaising with Tool Pusher as needed.
- Ensure DROPS procedures are followed and deficiencies reported.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Certification minimum.
- Well Control Certification – Driller Level 3 IWCF or IADC Driller Level.
- H2S (OPITO), HUET (OPITO), and Stuck Pipe Certifications preferred.
- Minimum 6 years in drilling operations, with at least 3 years in land operations.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Environmental commitment and leadership qualities.
