Our client in Aberdeen is seeking a skilled Bulk Plant Operator to join their team. This role involves performing warehouse and brine plant operations safely, efficiently, and effectively, while delivering excellent service to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare stock by palletising, shrink-wrapping, and loading/unloading containers.
- Mix brines, including cutting-in sacks of product and taking sample weight measurements.
- Load/unload vessels at the quayside to/from storage tanks.
- Filter returned fluids from customers.
- Operate bulk plant equipment such as valves, hoses, and pumps.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Prepare customer orders according to written or verbal instructions.
- Maintain plant and warehouse stock records (e.g., Daily Brine Movement reports).
- Ensure vehicles and forklifts remain in safe operating condition.
- Maintain general housekeeping and good order of warehouse and quayside facilities.
- Promote a positive work ethos and encourage worker consultation and participation.
Desired Qualities/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Brine Plant operations, including mixing brine and loading/unloading bulk fluids.
- Forklift truck certification (B2) preferred.
- Clean driving license essential.
- Experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to show initiative.
