As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our site running safely and efficiently, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement across our engineering systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance, statutory checks and inspections across site
  • Prioritise workload in liaison with the Engineering Team Leader to minimise downtime and meet business needs
  • Complete end-of-shift reports, logging completed work and flagging issues for the incoming team
  • Control contractors on site, including inductions and permits, ensuring safe and compliant working
  • Work within company health, safety and environmental policies, applying permit to work and isolation systems as required
  • Support a range of engineering and non-engineering projects across the business
  • Be prepared to cover additional hours in emergency situations

ABOUT YOU

  • Experienced in breakdown maintenance with strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Able to fault-find from mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Sound understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Good computer skills and confident completing digital reports
  • Qualified to ONC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of PLC fault finding, machining, welding or pipe fitting would be a bonus
  • First Aid or forklift/scissor lift licence desirable
