As Engineering Manager, you'll lead our engineering function to maximise plant reliability, efficiency, and safety - driving continuous improvement and supporting operational performance through effective maintenance strategies and strong team leadership.
- Develop and deliver a preventative maintenance strategy to minimise downtime and optimise asset performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring high performance and engagement
- Manage engineering budgets, contractors, and procurement to deliver cost-effective operations
- Drive CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) optimisation to improve planning and asset reliability
- Lead capital expenditure projects and planned shutdowns through to completion
Requirements:
- In-depth electrical and control systems skillset developed in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3–5 years in an engineering management role within a manufacturing environment
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including PLCs and machine control systems
- Experience managing engineering budgets, both consumable and capital
- Proficient in CMMS administration and Microsoft Office suite
- HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
- Lean practitioner experience a bonus
- IOSH/NEBOSH or formal safety qualification desirable
