As Engineering Manager, you'll lead our engineering function to maximise plant reliability, efficiency, and safety - driving continuous improvement and supporting operational performance through effective maintenance strategies and strong team leadership.

  • Develop and deliver a preventative maintenance strategy to minimise downtime and optimise asset performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Manage engineering budgets, contractors, and procurement to deliver cost-effective operations
  • Drive CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) optimisation to improve planning and asset reliability
  • Lead capital expenditure projects and planned shutdowns through to completion
  • In-depth electrical and control systems skillset developed in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in an engineering management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including PLCs and machine control systems
  • Experience managing engineering budgets, both consumable and capital
  • Proficient in CMMS administration and Microsoft Office suite
  • HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Lean practitioner experience a bonus
  • IOSH/NEBOSH or formal safety qualification desirable
