Tullie is looking for a permanent Finance Coordinator to join our team at an exciting moment in our development, as we deliver Project Tullie - an ambitious capital development programme that is transforming the museum and its role at the heart of Carlisle.***MUST BE PROFICIENT IN SAGE 200 AND AAT QUALIFIED***OVERALL PURPOSETo coordinate the day-to-day financial operations of the Trust, ensuring accurate financial processing, effective system management, and the provision of timely financial and management information.To support compliance with financial procedures and legislation, including payroll administration and VAT processes, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and controls.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYFinancial Processing & TransactionsRaise sales invoices and process purchase invoices using Sage 200Prepare and process supplier payments and assist with creditor payment runsMaintain accurate Sales and Purchase Ledger recordsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards and income streams on a regular basisAdminister petty cash and support handling of income from trading activitiesFinancial Systems & AdministrationAdminister and maintain Sage 200 financial systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrityMaintain supplier and customer recordsProvide support and guidance to staff using financial systemsMaintain accurate financial records in line with audit requirementsPayroll AdministrationAct as the first point of contact for payroll queriesCollate, check and process payroll data for submission to payroll providerReconcile payroll reports and post to appropriate ledger codesEnsure payroll processes are accurate and compliantCheck and respond to pension queries and reconciliationBudget Monitoring & ReportingSupport the production of monthly management accounts and budget monitoring across departments, including profiling and variance trackingProduce regular financial, income and statistical reportsAssist with month-end processes, reconciliations and reportingSupport preparation of financial information for audits and annual accountsIncome, Commercial & Operational SupportReconcile and report on income from visitor services and commercial activitySupport credit control and debtor managementWork with operational teams to ensure robust processes and maximise income opportunitiesCompliance, VAT & GovernanceSupport VAT and Gift Aid returns and ensure compliance with financial regulationsMaintain accurate records in line with audit and regulatory requirementsContribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systemsTPBN1_UKTJ
