Are you an experienced Home Manager ready for your next challenge?

We are looking for a committed and experienced Home Manager to join our established organisation, which has been providing therapeutic residential care and education for children and young people with complex needs since 2008.

At TulipCare, we pride ourselves on providing safe, consistent and homely environments for young people with past trauma, emotional and behavioural difficulties and other complex needs. We place a strong emphasis on building genuine relationships and helping the children in our care to feel safe, supported and achieve their potential.

As Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated care team to provide high-quality therapeutic care, creating and maintaining a stable and nurturing environment where the needs and wellbeing of the children remain at the heart of everything we do.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, supporting and developing your team, overseeing safeguarding and quality assurance, and continually striving to achieve outstanding standards of care.

You will work closely with our Service Manager and wider team, including our Clinical Psychologist, to maintain high standards and continually develop the quality of care we provide.

  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills with a commitment to developing yourself and others.
  • A good understanding of trauma-informed and relationship-based care.
  • Good knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding practices.
  • The ability to remain calm, proactive and solution-focused in challenging situations.
  • Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and complex needs.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in residential childcare within the last 5 years, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it.
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to meet the needs of the home.

What we offer

  • Generous holiday entitlement
  • Benenden Healthcare and wellbeing support
  • Professional training and development
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Funding for Level 5 qualification if applicable

If you share our commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic care and making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people, we'd love to hear from you!
