About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a successful and fast-paced organisation based in Camberley on an ongoing temporary basis. You will play a key role across various core areas of the business and processing stock in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
While previous experience in a Distribution Centre is preferred, it is not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing:
- Accurately pick stock items as per orders
- Pack products safely and according to company procedures
- Check stock thoroughly during packing
- Goods In/Put Away:
- Unload and check incoming deliveries
- Store stock in appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Replenishment:
- Move stock to correct picking areas based on demand and layout
- Loading:
- Build and load pallets from packing stations
- Safely load items onto vehicles following company loading standards
- General Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety guidelines
- Promptly report any incidents, accidents, or near misses
Skills & Experience Required:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic IT skills
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is an advantage, but not essential
