Our client is seeking a confident, reliable, and proactive individual to join their team as a Vehicle Logistics Driver. This full-time role requires an enthusiastic individual who can work as part of a team. A confident and reliable individual with a pro-active attitude with strong self-initiative is essential along with a good knowledge of vehicles. The ability to respond to customers in a helpful, timely, courteous, and friendly manner is also essential.

A full UK driving licence is essential. Some early starts and/or late finishes may be required as are long distance trips from time to time, occasionally overnight stopovers, so flexibility with working hours is required. Overtime will be paid where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all fleet vehicles are maintained to a high standard, including adherence to legal requirements such as MOT, road tax, and servicing (including any vehicle adaptations).
  • Issue and manage Service Care reminders to managed clients.
  • Carry out cleaning and valeting of vehicles when required.
  • Conduct checks on new vehicles to confirm correct specification.
  • Organise the timely despatch and delivery of vehicles.
  • Planning and delivering both adapted rental vehicles and customer own new vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records by updating systems and databases (training provided).
  • Manage a detailed vehicle movement log.
  • Develop familiarity with all adapted and converted vehicles in the fleet.
  • Support the disposal process of part exchange and ex-rental vehicles.
Key Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays for long-distance trips.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to customers in a helpful, timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
  • Good general knowledge of vehicles.
  • Comfortable with taking initiative and recognising when to seek support.
