Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a forward-thinking individual to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role to support the Team Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience ideally gained from within a Stores / Warehouse environment. The job role will provide duties within import / export, inventory control and logistics.
You will be responsible for overseeing goods in and goods out processes, so a good understanding of export documentation and procedures is preferred. Duties include packaging and preparation of high value equipment for shipment. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and proactive individual who is computer literate and would be happy to study for job related certifications. Occasionally, you may be required to drive company vehicles to transport equipment between sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
Key duties:
- Support inbound and outbound logistics, including booking in and booking out of equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on inhouse databases.
- Monitor stock levels for technical equipment, spares and components, supporting timely ordering and replenishment in line with operational requirements.
- Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers on logistics, returns, warranty claims, replacements and consumable spares for internal and external sites.
