Remote-first, with one in-office day per month | Reports to the Head of Clinical Operations

About Tuli Health:

We're bringing healthcare to the high street.

Tuli Health is building the infrastructure that makes diagnostic testing more accessible across the UK. We're a CQC-registered phlebotomy and diagnostics infrastructure company, with 215+ pharmacy-based hubs, integrations with 8+ diagnostic laboratories, alongside a mobile phlebotomy service, at-home testing kits, a SaaS platform and a training arm, Tuli Academy.

Backed by Y Combinator (S21) and investors including Michael Seibel, Morgan Stanley, Pioneer Fund and Kindred Ventures, we're a small, ambitious team building the future of diagnostic healthcare.

We're digital-first, move quickly and constantly rethink how things are done. We're looking for people who want to help us scale and make a meaningful difference to how people access healthcare.

The Opportunity:

If you're the person we're looking for, you probably have other options, including more established paths with structure and a clear career ladder.

At Tuli, rather than supporting decisions made several levels above you, you'll be close to them. We expect that this role grows with you. You'll work alongside our founders and Head of Clinical Operations, take on real responsibility from your first month, and see first‑hand how a digital‑first MedTech company is built and scaled. You'll start by learning our operations, then take ownership of processes, lead improvements and help shape our clinical operations function. We're hiring for potential and see this as an opportunity to develop the clinical operations leaders of the future.

It's a higher risk; startups usually are. But the learning curve is steeper, the work is dynamic and fast‑paced, and the responsibility comes sooner. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and figuring things out as you go, rather than relying on established structures.

This is an entry‑level role, but we're hiring for the clinical operations leader of the future. We'll give you the room to take initiative, the backing to act on it, and the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility as the company scales. We expect you to use it.

What You'll Do:

You'll be the right hand to our Head of Clinical Operations, helping keep our clinical governance, compliance and service delivery running smoothly.

  • Training: Coordinate national phlebotomy training, including bookings, attendance, records and certificates.
  • Mobile phlebotomy: Support scheduling, logistics and delivery as we expand our mobile service.
  • Clinical compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, training records and compliance processes.
  • Investigations: Help investigate clinical and operational issues, gather information and track actions through to resolution.
  • Process improvement: Identify recurring problems, streamline workflows and turn ideas into practical solutions.
  • Operational ownership: Take responsibility for projects and processes, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Leadership support: Provide operational cover during the Head of Clinical Operations' absence, escalating clinical decisions to the appropriate qualified professionals.

This is a hands‑on role. You'll move between day‑to‑day operations, problem‑solving and building better processes as the business grows.

Who We're Looking For:

We're more interested in your potential, pace of learning and quality of thinking than a perfectly linear CV.

You might be a recent graduate, already working at a startup, or someone who's built something through a side project, society or early‑stage venture. A background in life sciences, healthcare or a quantitative subject is useful, but not essential.

Most importantly, You Are:

  • A fast learner: You grasp unfamiliar concepts quickly, think logically and work comfortably with data.
  • High‑agency: You spot what needs doing, take initiative and follow through without being chased.
  • Ambitious: You want responsibility, steep learning curves and people who challenge you to improve.
  • Entrepreneurial: You enjoy solving problems, experimenting and building better ways of working.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities evolve and not every answer is obvious.
  • Rigorous: You care about the details, especially when your work affects patients and clinical processes.
  • Accountable: You take ownership of outcomes, learn from mistakes and deliver high‑quality work.
  • Mission‑driven: You want to help make diagnostic healthcare more accessible and efficient.

You don't need to know everything on day one. You do need the curiosity, initiative and drive to learn quickly.

Why Tuli?

  • Real responsibility early: Own meaningful work rather than spending your first year observing from the sidelines.
  • Learn how a startup scales: See how clinical operations, technology and commercial decisions come together.
  • Room to build: Shape processes, improve systems and turn ideas into real changes.
  • A steep learning curve: Work closely with leadership and expand your responsibilities as you grow.
  • Work with purpose: Help make diagnostic testing more accessible across the UK.

If you want a fixed role with a prescribed career ladder, this may not be the right fit. If you want to learn quickly, take ownership and help build a healthcare company from the inside, we'd love to hear from you.
